                                                Choosing Your Electrical Contractor

You have been planning your dream home for years and are
now ready to begin taking your dream to reality.  The
contractors you select will be critical in ensuring you are getting not only the most for your money, but also, that you are able to bring those unique ideas to life!  That is the value added feature we offer to all our customers at Ellman Electric Incorporated.  Having been in business for over 20 years, we have enjoyed working with our customer base in making their dreams come true.
At Ellman Electric Inc., we meet with our customers during the initial rough in of the home to review their vision and complete a room by room walk through to ensure we have an understanding of what their needs are.  Not only do we ensure we understand your lighting needs, we also provide ideas, suggestions and most importantly, ensure your vision meets all national and state electrical codes.
Here are some things you should ponder prior to meeting with your contractors.

  1.  Ensure the blue print for your home is accurate and reflects your vision.
 2.  Consider the layout and placement of your furniture, cabinets and lighting
fixtures.  This is especially important to ensure we are placing your receptacles
and light switches where you want them.
  3.  Consider how much lighting each of your rooms will need to accomplish the
atmosphere you are seeking to create.  Examples include mood lighting for a
  bedroom or great room area.
 4.  Don’t forget the outside areas of your home.  Do you need special lighting for
the backyard, patio or deck areas?
  5.  You may want to discuss future use of your basement as it is more cost
effective to wire it during the construction phase versus after your home is
  complete.
  6.  The garage can be a man’s castle, as such, you need to consider what kind of
power is needed to meet the needs of that special handyman.

At Ellman Electric Inc., we take the time to make sure you are getting what you need and that we understand what you are trying to accomplish with your lighting and electrical needs.  We meet with every customer for a personal walk through of the home layout prior to work beginning.  While this may take extra time, it reflects on our mission to ensure each and every one of our customers get the level of service and attention they need and deserve during this exciting adventure.
